Your Instructor
Dorie is the partner and cofounder of Crisis Support Solutions, LLC and MESS Ministries, Inc., creating and delivering training to peers, chaplains, ministers and laity provide support to those overwhelmed by stress. Along with training, Dorie also serves as Deacon, ordained in Minister of Word and Service, at Zion Lutheran Church, Houston, TX.
Dorie earned a Masters in Divinity (M.Div) from McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University, Atlanta, GA in 2000 and later earned a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from Savannah State University, Savannah, GA in 2005. In 2023, Dorie completed a Certificate of Advanced Theological Study (CATS) at Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary (PLTS) in Berkeley, CA.
