M.E.S.S. stands for Mental, Emotional, and Spiritual Support
For over a dozen years, we have developed curriculum and provided peer support training to local, state, and federal agencies and organizations.
As ordained ministers, we're now moving deeper in our call by providing MESS training to clergy and lay leaders wanting to provide mental, emotional, and spiritual support to those overwhelmed and in crisis.
-
MESS Ministries, Inc. is a nonprofit (501c3) started by the same folks that founded Crisis Support Solutions, LLC.
Intro to MESS Training
The MESS Basic is a 2.5 day training program that introduces crisis stabilization and emotional / spiritual support skills to clergy and lay leaders wanting to provide care and offer hope to those in need.
- MES(Stabilization) teaches helpers to identify and address immediate needs and critical concerns of those surviving a tragedy.
- MES(Support) teaches helpers to stand with and walk beside those suffering grief, hurt, and anger that naturally follows loss of trust, safety, power, control, and fairness.
Our Exclusive 6-Part ProtocolⒸ
We created the 6-Part Protocol Ⓒ as a guide for providing mental, emotional, and spiritual stabilization and support to anyone, at any time, suffering any stress.
Each part of the protocol comes with its own unique set of skills designed to help you successfully navigate a conversation by listening, assessing, and addressing concerns of those in need.
